Wa Samaki's story

Believing in agroforestry for 24 years

We started 24 years ago on a heavily sprayed and fertilised citrus estate surrounded by a landscape that burned every year. We have faced our challenges and made it through. Today we are a diverse ecosystem supporting a huge variety of wildlife and inspiring the next generation to treasure the natural world around them.

We are a tiny team on a multigenerational farm passionately following our dreams and empowering others to follow theirs! Every tree we plant helps us trap more carbon, hold more water, protect our soils, feed our biodiversity and offers something a new home. As we move forward we are constantly threatened by fire, pollution and encroaching housing. Your support will help us keep our story alive and flourishing!
